More inside dirt on the 24″ S&M Dirt Bike

Jon Faure’s been busy testing the 24″ S&M Dirt Bike prototype out on the trails and, more recently, in Las Vegas at their bike-friendly parks.

Jon seems to be loving the bike and his comfort level with the bike really shows (just check the picture above for evidence).

He’s also just put up a post on plussizebmx.com with some updates on how the testing is going.

It looks like:

  • some tweaks are being made to the existing prototype (proto #2 is on the way),
  • new bars to go with the frame are being developed
  • Updated 24″ Pitchforks might be in the works.

Have to say, this looks very promising!

24″ Dirt Bike testing goes flat out

Looks like S&M is going flat out with its 24″ Dirt Bike prototype testing.

That’s right.

S&M Bikes owner, Chris Moeller is taking a hands-on (and foot off) approach to get the 24″ Dirt Bike just right.

He’s bringing his years of experience to the table….

OK, enough with the puns.

I just wanted an excuse to run this pic of Moeller’s rad one-footed flattie on Jon Faure’s test bike.

Wanna test drive a Sunday Model-C?

The guys over at PlusSizeBMX are filming a video series called Project Model-C.

It looks like a pretty cool concept.

The series is going to be made up of clips that show their experiences taking a Sunday Model-C around in their travels through New Mexico, Colorado, Ohio and a few other places. At every stop they’ll be inviting riders to try it out and get their feedback (and I expect some of their riding) on tape.

Looking forward to their first installment.

Model-C with wave tubing at Interbike

Remember the post, “Is a Model-C with wave tubing next?”

How I said it would be so cool if it went into production?

That I had my fingers crossed the “Wave-C” would show up at Interbike?

Well, I still have no idea if (or when) the Wave-C will go into production but I did find out that the Wave-C was at Interbike!

Chris at PlusSizeBMX.com, a site that covers mostly 24 and 26″ MTB riding,  got in touch with me recently and let me know that he got some great pics of the Wave-C at Interbike.

I gather that if this does go into production it will be a frame-only deal….if it also features a longer top tube…well, then I think Sunday is going to have a hot seller on their hands.
