The Hundreds X Shadow Collab 26″ Cruiser

6 05 2019

The Hundreds X The Shadow Conspiracy 26″ BMX double top tube cruiser definitely has got that 80s vibe going on.

However, despite that new wave veneer there’s some modern-day niceties to deliver a smooth ride you’d expect from a contemporary 26″ BMX cruiser.

The signature Shadow interlock chain is just one of the modern touches to this old-school-ish cruiser.

Yet, at the same time it also sports a chrome frame, padset and a sprinkling of gold anno so you know there is more than a passing nod to the 80s era.

(And, before you ask, it does feature a full cro-mo frame, fork and handlebar too. Double-wall rims are also part of the package.)

Geo-wise, you’re looking at the following:

  • Headtube: 72 degrees
  • Seat Tube: 73 degrees
  • Top Tube: 22.0”
  • Chain Stay: 16.0”
  • Stand Over: 14.75”

For the rest of the specs: visit The Hundreds site.

There’s also a throwback jersey, hoodie, cap and tour shirt from the same collab if you’re interested. (But don’t sleep on it, a couple of the items have already sold out).

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go listen to A Flock of Seagulls.

Alienation now offers 24 inch rims

4 02 2010

Alienation BMX has joined the cruiser scene with a new 24 inch version of their jump/park/street Delinquent rim. They’re available in black, blue and red.  Noticeably absent is a gold anodized version. Maybe that will come later.

Still, great to see another company recognizing the need for aftermarket components for all the 24 inch BMX bikes out there.
