I had one and it did not take very long for it to snap in half although, it looks as if the plastic composite may be stronger (mine was clear blue).
Was that an earlier version? This one feels super sturdy.

Probably should be cutting on a wooden surface? Seems like cutting on a metal tray will dull the cutting wheel, eventually…
