Buddy and his friends in Texas seem to have found the answer.
The Lantern Ride.
Once a week, they ride till ten at night. Everyone brings a lantern (hence the name, Lantern Ride) and hangs it in a tree.
The owner of Liquor bikes was there recently and shot this pic of Buddy airing out over the double. Sweet!
Super-cool idea and great way to extend your time at the trails. I know it’s already got me thinking about buying a lantern or two (and maybe some night vision goggles).

Helmets off to the Buddy& the Texans!
We have talked about getting a light tower to light up one line but didn’t want to attract the attention of interstate motorists. The trails are on public land and are along side a major highway. The state is in the process of installing a barrier wall. Maybe next year…
That was such a fun session! It is crazy how lit up they had that place. You would be surprised what a few lanterns and some moonlight can do to a session.
