Joe Cicman and Danny Sirkin threw down some serious flatland moves on a 24″ last year in two installments of TwoFourFlat.
Well, they’re back at it again.
This time taking a 26″ Volume Sledgehammer through its paces and teaching the big bike some new tricks.
Check it out.

The 72 head angle has to feel a lot different than the p24 doing the front wheel tricks.
Very impressive. I tried to hang-5 an Eastern Traildigger and thought I was going to die. All I was good for on the Sledgehammer were peg wheelies.
i am waaay stoked on this. i like anything that breaks people’s mental molds and perceived parameters of what’s possible. i want to see BMX opening its mind.
check out these Brazilian kids. they have a whole sport or style of riding apparently called ‘Wheeling’ that focuses on long flowy coasting hang 5′s, nose wheelies, regular wheelies, even gyrated circle k’s in the style of jesse puente. they apparently choose 26″ as the preferred bike–maybe cuz there are tons of low-end cheapo 26″s in the favelas, or maybe because big wheels actually do lock into wheelies and balance points really well:
